Training Method
A combination of strength, conditioning and endurance, five times a week. A throwback to his rugby past.
Know Your Why
“Always take note of why you’re doing anything. There will be days when you don’t feel like working out and your motivation is in the sink, but when you remember why you haul yourself off to gym every day? That makes it easier to hit the ground running”.
You Are What You Eat
“I love eating clean food that’s high in nutritional value. Mix in proteins and a moderate amount of carbs with good greens. I noticed the benefits of limiting sugar and cutting processed foods, almost immediately. If you’re sapped for strength, don’t be afraid to experiment with different energy sources”.
Be the Early Bird
“Get a head start on the day. That means, choose to go to bed early and choose to wake up even earlier.”
Favourite Move
The squat. It’s a compound lift that hits your core and bolsters your legs. “ That’s almost every major muscle group in the human body”.
